Add a touch of timeless European heritage to your home with this striking, oversized Delfts Blauw wall charger. Produced by the respected Chemkefa (Chemisch Keramische Fabriek) factory in Maastricht, Holland, during the late 20th century, this piece showcases a beautifully detailed, dark cobalt-blue transferware design.
The central motif features an atmospheric, traditional Dutch maritime scene depicting a coastal fishing vessel coming ashore, figures gathering on the beach, and barrels ready for the catch. The intricate central artwork is framed by an elegant, ornate floral and scrollwork border typical of historic Delftware aesthetics.
The reverse side proudly bears the authentic factory backstamp reading "Origineel Blauw Delfts Handwerk - Chemkefa - Made in Holland" alongside the crown emblem and an impressed mold number designation. Designed specifically as a statement decor piece, it includes an integrated wire hanger on the back loop for immediate wall display.
