Celebrate Danish holiday tradition with this authentic 1991 vintage porcelain Christmas plate from the prestigious manufacturer Bing & Grøndahl (B&G). Famous for issuing the world's very first commemorative Christmas plate series, Bing & Grøndahl features a distinctive cobalt blue-and-white relief design on this highly collectible piece.
The front of the plate features the embossed text "JULEAFTEN 1991" (Christmas Eve 1991) and displays a beautifully detailed, snow-dusted winter scene of Børsen, the historic Copenhagen Stock Exchange building, viewed across a peaceful canal under a shining Christmas star.
The back of the plate is marked with the official underglaze green Copenhagen Porcelain B&G Denmark factory stamp featuring the signature three towers. It also includes the titles inscribed in both Danish and English: "Børsen ved Juletid" and "The Copenhagen Stock Exchange". It comes equipped with pre-drilled holes and a hanging cord, making it instantly ready for display.
