Bring the enchantment of a German winter into your home with this stunning vintage fine porcelain holiday collector's plate from Bavaria. Dated 1990, this limited-edition Christmas piece (Weihnachten) features a mesmerizing, deeply detailed winter landscape rendered in striking, high-contrast cobalt blue and snowy white tones.

The front depicts the historic Lauenstein Castle (Burg Lauenstein). As highlighted by the elegant German script on the back, this majestic 1,000-year-old landmark (1000 jähr. Wahrzeichen) stands proudly over the snow-covered Franconian Forest (Frankenwald) region. A deep blue sky dotted with radiant holiday stars frames the castle, creating a serene, nostalgic Christmas scene.

The reverse features a rich blue laurel wreath maker's mark with the stylized "R" stamp belonging to the renowned Wunsiedel (Retsch) Porzellan factory of Bavaria, Germany. It explicitly certifies the piece as "Echt Kobalt" (Genuine Cobalt) glaze and highlights its status as a "Begrenzte Auflage" (Limited Edition). Equipped with a pre-installed, secure wall-hanging loop on the back, this premium cabinet plate is ready to add a cozy, timeless European charm to your festive home decor or porcelain collection.
